MOTIVATED & PASSIONATE ORGANIZER
Donna Wang Su is, and has always been, the organizer. As the eldest of four children, she has been the family event planner and organizer. Donna sets her standards high, and will continue to fight for change until the overall vision has been reached.
Born in Evanston, Illinois, Donna is a Midwest girl through and through. She was raised in Darien, Illinois, before moving out to Southern California for high school and graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with her Bachelor's degree. Returning to Chicago for a career opportunity, she met and fell in love with her husband, Kuan. When they decided to purchase a home together, Evanston was their top choice to live and raise a family. They have two wonderful children, a son (Kennedy) and a daughter (Callista), who challenge and inspire them regularly.
Donna has prior work experience in corporate finance but has found her work/life balance working in higher education. She has been with Northwestern University since 2006, currently working at the Bienen School of Music in Graduate Services & Financial Aid. She has a Certificate in Business Administration, Master in Public Policy & Administration, and is currently working on a graduate certificate in Higher Education & Administration. She continues to volunteer for the Evanston community on a regular basis: President/Board of Directors for the Hip Circle Empowerment Center, coaching AYSO soccer teams for her children since 2014, room parent and Benefit Co-Chair for Chiaravalle Montessori, Programming Chair for The Parent Circle, Minority, Women, Evanston Business Development Committee for the City of Evanston just to name a few.
